1. About this policy
This policy describes information handled by the NauTube app and the website at nautube.app. NauTube is a family YouTube viewing app for iPhone and iPad. Its features include parent-selected content, profiles, saved libraries, viewing routines, and optional iCloud sharing.

2. Information in the app
Profiles and preferences. The app stores the profile names and avatars you choose, approved or blocked channels and videos, keyword rules, and viewing settings. You do not need to use a child’s full name.
Saved content and activity. Favorites, Watch Later, collections, watch history, and viewing-time information support the app’s library and parent activity features. Recent search shortcuts are stored locally for the relevant profile.
Access protection. Parent and child PINs, recovery information, and related security data are stored using device security features. PINs are specific to each device and are not shared through family profile syncing.
Optional syncing and family features. If enabled, Apple CloudKit stores and shares relevant profile rules, library data, viewing history, requests, device assignments, and connection or control status with the family participants you authorize. Adult profiles can remain local, use private iCloud sync, or be explicitly shared. Shared features depend on your setup and permissions.
Service requests. To retrieve YouTube information, the app sends requests to NauTube’s video service, including the requested video or channel identifiers, search terms when searching, and information needed to authenticate the installation with Apple App Attest. Network infrastructure may process IP addresses, request times, error information, and other technical information needed to deliver and protect the service.
Support. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and information you choose to include. Please avoid sending children’s personal information or sensitive credentials.
3. YouTube and other services
NauTube uses YouTube API Services and the official YouTube embedded player. When videos load or play, YouTube and Google process information under their own policies, which may include device information, IP addresses, cookies, and playback interactions. YouTube ads and branding may appear.
Please read the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. The website’s illustrative app preview does not load a YouTube player.
Apple processes information for services you choose to use, including iCloud, CloudKit, App Attest, and Screen Time. See Apple’s Privacy Policy. NauTube’s video service uses Google Cloud infrastructure. Service providers process information needed to operate their services; their handling may involve systems in countries other than your own.
4. This website
The website does not currently use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account registration, or a mailing-list form. Fonts and preview images are served with the site. Demo favorites and routine selections stay in the current page session and are not sent to NauTube.
Website hosting infrastructure processes normal technical request information, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to serve and secure the website. Following an external link or emailing us involves the destination service’s own privacy practices.
5. Children and families
NauTube is designed for adult setup and supervision. Adults select what information to enter, what content to approve, and whether to enable family sharing. Child profiles do not require an email address or a separate NauTube login.
If you believe information about a child has been provided to us inappropriately, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and address the request. Parents and guardians can also use the app’s profile and sharing controls to manage family information.
6. Your choices and information requests
You can manage profiles, approved content, saved libraries, and sharing settings inside the app. Local-only mode avoids optional iCloud profile sharing. Revoking sharing stops future access through that invitation; it may not remove copies that an authorized participant already saved. Device backups and service-provider retention may also apply.
Local information generally stays on the device until removed through app controls or the app is deleted. Shared and private iCloud data can remain until removed through the relevant app or Apple account controls. We use service and support information for the purpose it was collected and retain it as needed to operate and protect the service, handle requests, and meet applicable obligations.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of information, object to processing, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to a privacy authority. Email [email protected] to make a request. We may need to verify your authority to act for a profile or family before responding.
