1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to the NauTube app and nautube.app website. By using NauTube, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or website. “NauTube,” “we,” and “our” refer to the provider of the NauTube app and website.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. These terms do not replace any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
2. Parents and families
NauTube’s setup and management features are intended for parents, guardians, and other authorized adults. An adult is responsible for setting up child profiles, reviewing approved content, configuring viewing rules, and supervising use as appropriate for their family.
Parent approvals and metadata filters do not guarantee that content is suitable for every child. Filters do not analyze a video’s audio or images. You should review the content and settings you choose. Protect your parent PIN, recovery information, Apple Account, and devices.
Viewing timers and locks control activity inside NauTube. Additional device restrictions depend on Apple features, permissions, and setup. Connected features and remote commands require connectivity and may not take effect immediately.
3. YouTube content and third-party services
NauTube is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by YouTube or Google. YouTube videos remain the property of their respective rights holders and are played through YouTube’s official embedded player.
Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube ads, branding, and player controls remain available. Third-party content can change or become unavailable.
Apple services, including iCloud and Screen Time, are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and permissions. You are responsible for following the requirements of the services you use.
4. Responsible use
Use NauTube lawfully and only with accounts, devices, and family information you are authorized to manage. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse invitations, bypass access controls, or violate the rights of others.
The NauTube name, website design, and original app materials belong to their respective owners. These terms give you permission to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of intellectual property. Any rights permitted by applicable law remain unaffected.
5. Availability and changes
We may update features, fix issues, or change the app and website. Availability depends on supported devices, operating systems, internet access, Apple services, and YouTube. We do not guarantee continuous availability or that every feature will work in every situation.
If paid features or subscriptions are offered, their price and applicable purchase terms will be shown before purchase. These terms do not create a subscription or payment obligation.
We may revise these terms and will update the date shown above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent. You may stop using NauTube at any time.
6. Your rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available without additional promises beyond those expressly stated. Nothing in these terms excludes a legal guarantee, remedy, responsibility, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
These terms do not require mandatory arbitration, waive your consumer rights, or prevent you from bringing a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.
